Updates - Playoffs...
The playoffs are now in full swing for all nights of the program. Remember the rules if you can – you have a rulebook. If you cannot remember where you hid that pesky playoff format sheet that was given to you by the convenors, there is one posted on the bulletin board at the front of the building. All of you should be embroiled in a Round-Robin format currently and there is one thing you should remember…if you default any one of the games in a Round Robin series – you default them all.
Updates - Summer Leagues... We are now taking registrations for the summer league – do not procrastinate if you wish to play. Spots are limited and as the saying goes – ‘he who hesitates is lost’ In passing...
Every year we get one or two teams who try to place players on their team, who are not on the roster, during the playoffs. And I get the rationale –it’s like you got friends – it’s no big deal – come out and play a game tonight. Well, because the majority of the league attaches some importance to the playoffs we have these little things called – rules. They are explicit and you will probably get caught anyways…so here is a novel thought. Do not…(repeat for emphasis) Do Not let anyone dress for the playoffs who is not on your roster, or has played at least 50% of the regular season.
