All the sand in our Village Oasis courts will be supplied to us by Hutcheson Sand & Mixes.  The leader in the production of sand products for the sport market, they have perfected a sand especially for Beach Volleyball."V" Sand has no equal in the industry!

Features and Benefits:

1. Particle Size - Hutcheson "V" sand is screened to provide uniform particle sizing.  The absence of larger particles provides a safer play area.
2. Water Washed - free of silt and clay, keeping dust to a minimum and resisting crusting.
3. Particle Shape - the sub angular particle shape resists compaction and provides superior drainage.
4. Colour - the tan-grey colour absorbs less heat, is non-glare, and esthetically pleasing.
5. Non Calcareous - granite based, calcium free Hutcheson "V" sand remains stable through variable weather conditions and constant use.
6. Low Maintenance - Hutcheson Sand Courts are essentially maintenance FREE.  Because the sand NEVER compacts, a light raking from time to time is the only maintenance required.  Due to the excellent drainage, courts can be played on, during, or within minutes after a heavy rain.
